We strive for our students to develop their own unique creative voice, their imagination, and a comprehensive understanding of drama. The curriculum does prepare students for work in television, film, radio, and the stage, but most importantly, prepares students for the theatre of life. Young Drama Program Specifically created for 4 and 5 year olds, this class is 12-weeks long, ending in an "open-class." An open- class is different for every individual group, the children generally choose their favorite games to show off and get parents and siblings involved, there is often an aspect of short performance and/or story telling. It is a chance for family and friends to see how much the children have grown and learned. This program uses imagination and storytelling to lead the way into adventures and other lands, lead by the students and guided by the teachers to touch on the important skills all through active games. - Classes Start Sept 11th (Saturday morning and afternoon) and Sept. 13th (Tues 4:45-5:45). Classes are once a week for one hour. - No more than 10 students per class and there is an assistant along with the main teacher. - Total cost: $300.00

The performance class performs in the community at the end of the school year (It also runs from October-May). - Classes take place Wednesday evenings or Saturday afternoons for an hour and a half. - Total cost for full year, 1.5 hour long class: $850.00
Autism Program (Starlight Players)- We offer classes to children and teens on the autism spectrum who have a love for theatre. The primary goals are the same as our regular program. We want to create a safe place for these students to express themselves, experiment with characters and emotions and work as a team to create a work of art. Drama is a wonderful vehicle for teaching social and life skills in a natural setting. There are never more than 10 students in one class, and along with the teacher there is an assistant and often a volunteer.
